Our Founders Robert & Renee Chamberlain
Bob and Renee Chamberlain started Northwest Paranormal Investigations several years ago.
Both were interested in learning and teaching paranormal in a safe, courteous manner. Their experiences along with other club members,have lead them to a strong club foundation.
Northwest Paranormal members investigate private homes, businesses, cemeteries, mansions, towns that are historical, and any place that may be a possible source for the paranormal. Team members also do extensive traveling throughout the Northwest.
Members are encouraged to help out in their communities with volunteer work as well.
Some of our efforts with volunteer work have included the Shanghai Tunnels in Portland and The Oregon Country Settlement, both with the Cascade Geographic Society.
Other members have taken a class in cemetery cleanup, learning how to clean and maintain fragile old headstones, and general yardwork.
Bob and Renee are both dedicated to paranormal research. Both want to be sure members of Northwest Paranormal are courteous and aware of other's property, to investigate with safety for our investigators and their host.

About Our Members
Northwest Paranormal is a team of investigators that have had experiences or just want to learn more about the paranormal.
We, as a team, also investigate cemeteries, private homes, and businesses.
We are interested in what causes a paranormal activity.
Many of us have had paranormal events happen in our own lives or taken pictures that show things we just can't explain away. By joining together we have been able to share what has happened as well as research with others who also share an interest in the paranormal. You will find in this web site, and many others out there, a lot of wonderful information on paranormal. Many have written books, others have done EVP's,and films. The study of the paranormal or parapsychology has been around for many years and will continue for many more.


Changes in Northwest Paranormal.
WE ARE GROWING.
Northwest Paranormal has really been growing and changing. We have opened up our main chapter and now have the Portland/St. Helens Chapter.  Robert and Renee Chamberlain are Founders of Northwest Paranormal, they continue to oversee and support the members of Northwest Paranormal, and are also taking an active roll in responding and overseeing all our e-mail and comments. NWPI President is Lise Beals, who is also one of our EVP Specialists, assisted by Dave Beals. Publicity is done by Todd and Holly Hilton. We are also joined by members who have been trained in investigating. 

    Our main group will be getting together on a quarterly basis so Robert and Renee and the officers of Northwest Paranormal can update everyone on what is in the making as well as find out what each chapter has done, also to find out if any members have input or feedback on future investigations or other topics.

Each of us have our own story as to why we are interested in the paranormal.
Some of us get into the paranormal because of our own encounters, others because of what we have heard about the paranormal.
In our meeting we talk about what the different experiences the members have encountered in their own life. One of our ladies has had things moved around in her house.
Another has gone into a cemetery to hear children singing.
Others come to our meeting because of pictures they have taken that have someone or something they just can't explain away.
